Creating an Immersive Backdrop for The Mush Room at HIX 2022
Europe’s premier hotel design event, HIX 2022, featured The Mush Room - an immersive, living social space constructed from mycelium, a root-like fungal structure that embodies growth and sustainability. This visionary installation, created by organic material artist Côme di Meglio in collaboration with creative studio La Succulente, perfectly captured the show’s theme: “Great Things Will Grow.”
To complement the living bar centerpiece, Belgium-based interiors and branding studio WeWantMore sought a highly reflective mirror-effect backdrop to enhance the bar’s organic textures and dynamic lighting. The challenge was sourcing a material that delivered exceptional visual impact, print quality, and easy installation within a temporary event space.
